Start with what you know.
Choose a row, column or box that already has several numbers. Note what is missing, then use the crossing rows and columns to rule out positions. Only write a number when one possibility remains.
Every row, column and 3 × 3 box must contain 1 to 9 once. Guessing is optional; taking a break is always allowed.

Print at actual size on A4 paper. An ordinary pencil and eraser are enough. If the printer crops the page, check its paper size before trying again. No special stationery or purchase is needed.
